Mother-daughter Retreat July 14-16

Join us at The Rancho Bernardo Inn resort and spa for important conversations and skill-building for young ladies entering middle school and high school.

Topics:

  • Peer pressure and refusal skills

  • Choosing friends

  • Fitting-in verses belonging

  • Mother-daughter respect and alignment

  • Self-care, body image and changes

  • Social media, online safety and awareness, filters, retouched images

  • Intimacy decision-making

This is sure to be an outstanding experience to support girls and parents through challenging adolescent years. While the focus is on meaningful work, we also will have SO MUCH FUN in a beautiful and celebratory setting. Covid vaccination required for adult participants please.

Parent Roundtables team experience & style:

Cami Eiskamp is an expert in working with adolescent girls and parents. She has run large-scale programs training parents and teens across the US and internationally since 1999 with Quantum Learning Network, True North and My Power.

Joining our retreat to support this work is Allison Logue LMFT (licensed marriage family therapist). Allison specializes in adolescent and family work. Cami and Allison have worked together leading programs for Quantum Learning and My Power.  Allison is very well-trained and experienced. 

We will discuss topics with loving honesty, grace, research, and also some relaxed humor. Remember, it is most beneficial to teach our children information and skills 2-3 years before they need it. This is when we have the most access to them, and topics are less emotionally charged.

The majority of our work will be ‘fireside chats’ with open discussion. There are also activities designed for daughters and mothers to get to know each other on a deeper level, to build more trust, respect and alignment. There is also the time in our schedule for some relaxing and fun pool / free time and some sessions where Allison or Cami will work with just the young ladies or just Mothers.

Time commitment:

  • July 14: 1:30-8:30 pm

  • July 15: Full day

  • July 16: 8:30-11:30 am

Location:

The presidential suite is the location for our group discussions. We will be working outside on our spacious private patio and in the gorgeous living room-type space. It is recommended you stay at The Rancho Bernardo Inn the nights of July 14 & 15 with your daughter for the full experience. Staying overnight is not required. Please book your own room if you choose to stay overnight. The best price I found was on Hotels.com.

Cost:

  • Early bird price before May 1: $435, after May 15: $485 for Mother & Daughter

  • $50 discount for Parent Roundtable members.

  • Add $150 per person to add an additional family member (daughter, cousin, aunt, grandmother, etc.)

  • This retreat will sell out. Commit early if you are interested.
